Courage Weeding Star Thistle

Sometimes even weeding can give me a challenge. Start Thistle grew in a most inconvenient place.

Psalm 18: 33

“He made my feet like the feet of a deer, and set me secure on the heights.”

What made the reading so appropriate, was for the past two days I climbed up the cliff face below my house to pull an obnoxious weed, star thistle. I was hesitant at first, but realized if I was careful I could. And I did.

So many times in my life I felt fearful of doing something, yet analyzed the situation, prayed, and went about doing the thing I dreaded.

As an adult I went to college to obtain a Masters in Library Science. While I was smart enough to get a higher education, working at a job seemed daunting at first. I did, and worked at LLNL as a Technical Information Specialist for several years.

I always wanted to write something worth reading. Last fall I published a book, Hannah, Weaver of Life. Soon it will also become an e-book.  I am working on a new historical novel.

We can all do more than we think we can if ask God to help and guide us, and then put our trust in Him.
